RTW/RTR Biometric Check

This is a short informative guide on the difference between the regular Biometric ID Check and the RTW/RTR Biometric Check.

When your Law Firm issues a new biometric check to be sent out to you as the client, they might select the RTW/RTR check. It is important to note that this check can only be completed if you are a United Kingdom/Ireland resident with an In date Passport.

When prompted to complete the RTW/RTR check in the Verify365 app, you will be shown this screen:

As you can see, the difference is in the name of the check. Instead of "Biometric ID Check" it will say "Right to work & Rent ID".

These next two pictures show the difference in what you can upload in the RTW check:

Again, the difference shown is that you can only upload a valid Passport for this check. Driver's licenses and National ID Cards are not accepted for this Task. You MUST make sure that you've confirmed with the law firm that you are able to complete this check. If you are unable to complete this check, for example if you do not have the required documents. You would need to contact the law firm that invited you to Verify and discuss an alternative with them.

This concludes the guide on how the RTW check differs from the regular Biometric ID Check.
